At Bermuda Run Apartments in Greensboro, North Carolina, the team needed a kitchen backsplash solution that could support the pace of new construction while creating a distinctive, high-end look for prospective renters.
For Comet, the backsplash area presented a long-standing challenge. Kitchens need to perform well in high-use areas behind sinks and ranges, where water spots, grease, and everyday messes are common. Traditional tile offered the right look, but the installation process was often too time-consuming and costly for large-scale production.

The team worked with Comet’s designers to create a fresh stacked subway look that helped differentiate the property while still satisfying the needs of construction managers and installers. The result was a templated backsplash kit that could be installed quickly and easily, without slowing down the project schedule.
